I watched the videos of various options for embedding a video presentation and was so excited to create a big Museum Box collection for our Minnesota study unit. Had a lot of fun brainstorming all my six part topics, such as landmarks, people, cities, and such with one Youtube video for each. Then... couldn't access Museum Box as shown in the intro video and found out it now has a cost. I may go back and do it anyway, since it seems like a great way to introduce each area of study. For now I decided to create a quick little Poppet of Minnesota symbols. It's like a collage of symbols, with labels and pictures, and one short Youtube video of loons calling. It was simple and visual; would be great to do with a group of students after researching a topic in guided reading or something. Of course, there is a cost for Poppet, too, after the first three free. Oh, the possibilities!
I love all the color and the Minnesota Popplet! Great job Cindy!!
ReplyDeleteYour Popplet looks great! It's too bad that Museum Box and Popplet now have a cost to them. :/ I can see having students create their own - they would love it! P.S. I love the loon video - it brings back memories of living on the lake!
ReplyDeleteLooks GREAT Cindy. Very visually appealing!
