Activity 7 : Cloud Computing

Creating a Google Doc was not as easy as I had hoped. My tool bar disappeared and then my doc shrunk so that it practically disappeared. Of course, in the process of getting it to work I learned a lot along the way. I created a field trip permission form for the third grade trip to the Wildlife Science Center that I just scheduled, and shared it with my team for review. I think this is the perfect format for something like our grade level CPMs, but am not yet convinced that this is a better way to do a simple form. I really missed the ease of Word formatting, although it did make more sense as I kept going. Now let's see if I can connect the link to share my efforts.

  1. I'm sorry this was so tricky. I saw your email today about your shrinking document, but I'm glad you figured it out! Your permission slip looks great. You could also post this on your website (for parents to view instead of edit), so they could print off another form if they need it.

  2. Hi Cindy, For some reason, I wasn't able to access your document. I'm sure it's great. I do have to say that when I first saw the title (Wolf Field Trip) I thought you were somehow talking about me (Ms. Wolf) - ha ha. Way to be so tenacious with technology, even when it's not doing what it's supposed to do! :)
